Giving Nanas the World Wide a Run for Their Money

At some point in my unemployment, I took up crocheting. No, not knitting. I attempted to knit many years ago while working Summer Stock in Colorado. I was hopeless. I kept on dropping the needles backstage and they'd clang when they hit the cement floor.

Crocheting was a completely different story. I took to it immediately. Apparently, one less needle/hook = a world of difference. Much less noise involved when you drop it. I'm also not backstage anymore, so I'm not disturbing anyone when I do drop my hook.

I started on scarves to try and get the different stitches down. Once I'd mastered that, I was off and running. I began to work on baby clothes. Their fun and easy to make and so adorable when finished. And considering there seems to be a population explosion happening with most of my married friends, most of the sweaters are finding good homes. They are reaping the rewards of my "funemployment."

I'm currently working on a baby blanket and slippers for adults.

Two baby sweaters in different sizes.

This one took forever - I still have to add buttons.

Detailing on the last sweater.
